For the superstitious, Friday the 13th is probably not a day one wants to ride their motorcycle, or do anything for that matter because omg so unlucky! For the motorcyclist however, this is the day you ride to Port Dover Ontario.
As expected I had absolutely no time in Mexico to write a post and little time to do so once I arrived home as well. Worse than all that however, I brought Horo all the way down there and only managed to get a couple shots of her, with only one turning out worth a damn. Really really disappointing in that respect, but in the grand scheme of things negligible, I had a blast
This morning I noticed I was receiving hits from Isuna Hasekura’s blog (author of Spice & Wolf) and the thought dawned on me, I never followed up my trip posts with any properly post-processed photos. Just there poorly and “quickly” (netbook’s are never quick) processed ones from the loaner netbook I was using. So here’s a compilation of all the Horo shots taken.
As the year is rapidly coming to a close and Christmas making way for New Years I figured I should get these posted as soon as possible lest it be 2012 already and Christmas long forgotten.
I wouldn’t normally make a post for something like this, but since Twitpic decided to make this image vanish I figured I’d put it somewhere they couldn’t do that. Perhaps it was a bit too racy, who knows.
After leaving Colorado Springs covered in a fresh light dusting of snow we drove towards Tulsa, OK to meet a friend at a local Irish pub. Hoping to avoid as much of the snow as possible.
Day eleven was half a rest day and half some exploring. Decided to hit up the Garden of the Gods Park “near” the base of Pikes Peak. Was fun taking pictures from below the summit as well as from the top.
Days 9 and 10 were both shorter days but no less scenic than the previous. Though, perhaps a little less photogenic? I just don’t feel I managed to capture much of it at all.
