Tony Taka goodness this week, Orchid Seed’s Seena Kanon from Shining Wind, and more specifically a piece of artwork by the man himself. Kept this one sitting around unreviewed for quite a while until I let a friend of mine decide. She wanted me to review Aki Hanazono but we compromised on Seena Kanon. I wonder if she has a thing for redheads?
One of my favourite pictures of Horo (ホロ) by Ayakura Jū (文倉 十) has been brought into the 3D world by garage kit manufacturer Global. However, like the other Global figure, does this Horo rival Takis?
April 20th, 2010, a 2 year relationship ends as Toyslogic’s last shipment to be sent my way arrives at my door step, four hundred and four days after pre-ordering. What a long time to wait for a figure, especially one as highly anticipated as Black★Rock Shooter. Perhaps I should say, as Black★Rock Shooter was. Since everyone and their mother already has theirs by now.
Librorum Prohibitorum Index (禁書目録) from A Certain Magical Index (とある魔術の禁書目録（インデックス）) by Good Smile Company. I don’t like this character very much. I’m not into nuns, and she’s a very annoying character and is easily over shadowed by Misaka Mikoto (御坂 美琴). Never the less I bought this figure.
Is Global’s Horo a contender for my worst figure ever or a pleasant surprise? She was definitely not a cheap buy and far from a recommended buy but lets see how she fared.
Today’s figure come from the year two-thousand! … and six! She’s an oldie so far as my collecting goes, though Tohsaka Rin still pre-dates this here Saber Kyuujitsu Ver. figure. Saber’s taller than I was expecting…
Slightly older figure today but one I’ve been trying to get for a reasonable price for quite some time. It’s Hatsune Miku, everyone’s favourite Vocaloid and virtual idol.
After a bit of a disconnect between Toyslogic’s inventory system and their actual stock, I wondered if I’d ever be able to find this figure for a reasonable price. A while passes without much result and I start to lose hope. Then, out of no where I receive a message “… still trying to get a Narika? If so I’ll sell ya mine.”
